Kaedehara Kazuha is a 5-star Anemo hero. He is one of the best characters on Genshin Impact. He can be found in almost all meta teams that are designed to fight the abyss. In addition to giving his team an important elemental boost, Kazuha also manages to gather enemies efficiently. This makes him an excellent addition to many teams. We have written this complete guide on Kazuha from Genshin Impact to help you give him the best build. Our tips and tricks will tell you which artifacts and weapons to equip him with, as well as which teams to play him in.
You can only attempt to unlock Kazuha when he is featured in an Character Event Wish.
Kaedehara Kazuha was released on June 29, 2021 on the occasion of update1.6 of Genshin Impact. It has not yet received a rerun, but one is expected soon.
Kazuha can perfectly be played without his constellations, he will already offer an important DPS gain. But if you still want to improve the character, we recommend his first two constellations.
His C1 Scarlet Hills reduces the cooldown of his elemental skill and elemental rampage resets his cooldown.
And with C2 Yamaarashi Tailwind, Kazuha's elemental rampage increases his elemental mastery by 200 points. The same applies to characters in the Automn Whirlwind field created by the ability.
Finally, if you want to play Kazuha as a DPS hand, you'll need his C6 Scarlet Petals. This gives him an Anemo enchantment for 5 seconds after he unleashes an elemental attack. As an added bonus, each of Kazuha's mastery points increases the damage of his normal, charged and plunging attacks by 0.2%.
Kazuha is mostly played as a support in Genshin Impact. He will give your team a big boost with his passive Poetics of Fuubutsu. Each of his mastery points grants the whole team a bonus of 0.04% damage for 8 seconds depending on the element on which he has performed a Swirl.
You can also use Kazuha as a sub DPS, especially in a quick swap team where you regularly change the active hero.
With his elemental attack Chihayabaru, Kaedehara Kazuha propels himself into the air and attracts the enemies to him, which makes it easier to group them. When you come back down, take the opportunity to perform a diving attack. This will create a new Swirl. By pressing long, you will do more damage and attract more opponents. The recharge time will also be longer.
Kazuha Splash, Kazuha's elemental rampage, triggers a storm that causes area Anemo damage. The attack then leaves an area named Automn Whirlwind for 8 seconds. This absorbs any Hydro, Pyro, Cryo and Electro elements it comes into contact with and deals damage from the absorbed element (only one at a time).
To deal maximum damage, start by setting up your other characters' elemental attacks, use Kazuha's elemental skill to gather enemies and Swirl, perform his elemental rampage and attack again with your main DPS.
A little advice: improve Kazuha's elemental attacks as a priority, as you will only use his normal attacks very rarely.
To boost your team's elemental damage as much as possible, the trick is to increase Kazuha's elemental control as much as possible. And if you prefer a more sub DPS oriented build to attack regularly with Kazuha, increase more his ATK and his critical hit and damage rates.
In this guide we reveal the best weapons and artifacts to equip Kazuha with in Genshin Impact to ensure he is optimally equipped.
The best choice of artefact to equip on Kazuha is the 4-piece Viridescent Venerer set. With two pieces of equipment, you get a 15% anemo damage bonus and with four, the damage caused by swirls is increased by 60% and the elemental resistance of enemies is reduced by 40% for 10 seconds depending on the elemental type of the scatter.
For a sub DPS build, especially if you're playing Kazuha with Xiao, you can opt for a two piece gear and combine it with two pieces of Gladiator's Finale or Shimenawa's Reminiscence to get an 18% bonus to ATK.
The main statistics to be prioritised:
Secondary statistics:
The Freedom-Sworn is Kazuha's best weapon in Genshin Impact. The one-handed sword greatly increases his elemental control. Its passive increases damage by 10% and by triggering elemental reactions, it can increase the damage of normal, charged and plunging attacks by 16% and the ATK by 20% of all team members.
If you don't have it, other one-handed swords are possible:
In order to get Kazuha to level 90 in Genshin Impact, collect the following resources:
Kazuha can be integrated into many teams due to his ability to boost elemental damage and gather enemies (although his crowd control is not equivalent to Venti's). However, he will be more relevant with Pyro, Hydro, Electro or Cryo characters. It also has the advantage of being a good battery in terms of the energy particles it generates.
Among the best teams to take advantage of its full potential, we recommend :
