Looking for a unit that can destroy opposing towers quickly? In this Clash Royale Balloon guide, we reveal the solution to learning how to play the card strategically. You'll learn about its strengths and weaknesses, and how to incorporate it into a deck that takes advantage of its qualities while overcoming its flaws.
The Clash Royale Balloon card is available from Arena 6: Builder's Workshop. It is an epic card that costs 5 units of Elixir. The Balloon moves at medium speed and targets short melee buildings by 0.8 squares.
Every 3 seconds, the skeleton in the Balloon drops a bomb that deals heavy area damage. Like the Giant Skeleton, the Balloon drops a bomb when it dies, which deals area damage.
Its life points are correct, but as it only targets buildings, it is necessary to accompany it with other units that allow it to have time to reach the opposing tower.
During your attack phases in Clash Royale, the Balloon is ideally placed behind a tank, to allow him to reach the tower before dying, and thus inflict damage with his post-death bomb.
You can also choose a Freeze spell or an Ice Spirit, which immobilizes opposing units for long enough for the Balloon to attack the tower. However, make sure you always have an attack spell, such as Arrows or Fireball, before you cast your Balloon, since Minions can destroy it very quickly.
To counter an opposing Balloon in Clash Royale, opt for air units, such as the Minion Horde or Inferno Dragon. If you want to save time, the Inferno Tower will lure it away from your crowned tower and its progressive damage will take care of it quickly.
The best Clash Royale Balloon deck is a very powerful deck that has the particularity of not integrating numerous units. You have two tanks, the Bowler and the Lumberjack, to place in first line to protect your Balloon.
On the air units side, the Baby Dragon can accompany the Balloon to counter the Minions, while the Inferno Dragon is used more for defense to defeat opposing tanks thanks to its damage that increases progressively as long as it targets the same unit.
This best Clash Royale Balloon deck also includes two spells: the Freeze, to help your Balloon reach the tower, as we talked about earlier, and the Tornado, which can be handy for gathering enemy units and maximizing your area damage.
Finally, the Barbarian Barrel can be used both offensively and defensively against ground units, such as the Skeleton Army, Spear Goblins or Goblin Barrel.
