AC Milan is a legendary football club with a history of success. But football is not its only playground; the football club also has a department esport.AC Milan QLASH, its esport Brawl Stars team, was born at the end of 2020 with great ambitions for the coming season. The least we can say is that, for the moment, everything is going well! The team won the first monthly final in the European zone(EMEA). They are off to a great start this year and are well on their way to qualifying for the world finals of the Brawl Stars Championship.
It should be noted that in the top 10, there are quite a few players without an organisation. If they do not benefit from the support of a structure for the moment, they could take advantage of this visibility to catch the eye of teams esport.
The Italian-Spanish team put in a near perfect performance in this February monthly final. Dominant from start to finish, GuilleVGX, iKaoss, Mr_LeNain and Trebor made short work of their opponents. In the final table, they easily beat F/A Trio (2-0), XO Free Agents (3-0) and SK Gaming (3-1) in the grand final. No one was able to worry AC Milan QLASH, who are hoping to do it again in the next monthly finals. At the same time, the team pockets a small cash-prize of 7,500 dollars, which is always nice!
After this first stage, the structure has 116 points (100 points for the final victory + 16 points from the Swiss round). Obviously, it will take a lot more than that to ensure qualification for the World Finals, but it is a good base. While EMEA (which also includes Africa and the Middle East) will be sending 5 representatives,AC Milan QLASH has a real card to play. Behind them, SK Gaming has 88 points (70+18) and XO Free Agents 68 points (50+18).
The French were well present for this first stage of the Brawl Stars Championship. However, they didn't manage to play the first roles... We will have to do better for the upcoming events. We are still at the beginning of the race and there is still a lot of time to improve.
Small disappointment for the French trio of CODEMAGIC who surely hoped to do better considering the combined experience of the structure and the players on Brawl Stars. On the other hand, Uil D'Oliv and ASAP can be very proud. They are less known and have no structure behind them for the moment... Until they find a team, they will leave with a 1 000 dollars prize-money.
