Welcome to Lou's guide, a character from Brawl Stars, the free-to-play game developed by Supercell. Lou is a chromatic brawler, so he's pretty hard to get right out of the gate. Considered a support, Lou is a very effective team brawler and has a big advantage in crowd control. On some maps and game modes, he will be a formidable opponent to face.
As said before, Lou is a chromatic brawler and is, therefore, a very difficult brawler to obtain. Chromatics have a very low obtainment rate. However, it increases with each season from the time the brawler is released. The chances of getting it in a Brawl Box therefore range from 0.12% to 0.5%.
A very effective team support, Lou has a passive that allows him tostun enemies. It is Lou's attacks that allow this stun, here are his particularities:
Ranging from 3,200 to 4,480 health points depending on his level, Lou is an average brawler in terms of health points. It is therefore necessary to play cautiously, and to remain on the lookout for potential dangers. Lou is above all a support that allows his allies to get rid of opponents easily.
As far as movement speed is concerned, it is about average. Lou is therefore a brawler who has to beware of murderous brawlers and those with leaps and rushes. Fortunately, his range makes up for his lack of speed.
Lou's damage is quite nice for a support brawler. Each attack consists of 3 ice cones inflicting 440 to 616 points of damage each. Lou's damage coupled with his immobilizing passive will allow your allies to easily finish off your opponents. ❄️
Lou is a brawler at ease at distance, he has a very long range reaching 9.33 squares. This is probably his biggest strength, being able to annoy and immobilise opponents from a great distance. However, Lou's passive is not the only crowd control he has.
Lou's Super, ' Freezing Cream ', is an attack that allows him to strain the mobility of his enemies. He throws a bottle of frozen syrup that freezes a large area of the ground at the point of impact. The projectile can be thrown from 7.67 squares away. The frozen surface prevents the enemies from moving as they wish and causes them to slide. In addition, as long as they remain on the ice, they suffer 40 to 56 points of damage per second.
Lou's gadget " Ice Block " is a very good tool to stall if needed. By activating it, the brawler becomes invulnerable to any attack for 1 second. However, during this second of invulnerability, Lou is unable to move.
Lou is therefore the ultimate support brawler, he can both lower opponents' hit points and inflict crowd control. Moreover, he is a very difficult brawler to hit because of his very long range. The simple fact that he can hinder opponents with stun gives a huge advantage to the team lucky enough to have him. Lou can even act as a bait in certain situations. Thanks to his gadget, he can stall a fight to give his allies time to come and help him.
As for the game modes, prefer modes where control of the map is important, such as Siege, Gem Razzia or Reserved Area. In this kind of mode, crowd control will be all the more effective. Indeed, you and your opponents need to move to collect objectives or take positions. Lou's Super is very useful here, allowing you to take a position more easily than your enemies. Furthermore, an opponent who has difficulty moving will have difficulty avoiding his opponents' attacks. So you can easily ice your opponents and immobilise them.
Finally, we have seen that Lou is a very good support and that you have to play as a team to use him at best! But be careful not to underestimate this brawler, he can win more than one duel by playing correctly with his immobilization.
You are now ready to use Lou and his ice cream! If you need more tips, you can also read the Brawlers guide and find other guides. ⭐️
